Association names electronics retailer finalist for international award
A local electronics retailer has gained a spot on the international stage.
Bekins is a finalist in the 2018 CEDIA Awards for home technology companies in the Americas.
This marks the 14th time CEDIA has recognized Bekins for its work.
“We always have been and always will be a service company that happens to sell products,” said Scott Bekins, president, Bekins. “We train our employees to a level that is unmatched in this industry, so that we can provide our customers the very best products and services.”
The CEDIA Americas winners will be announced at the CEDIA Awards at Petco Park in San Diego on Sept. 5.
The global winners will be announced at the CEDIA Awards for the EMEA region at the British Museum in London on Sept. 27.
Bekins, which also owns Classic Stereo, has interactive showrooms in Grand Rapids and Grand Haven.
The company sells, installs and integrates home electronics and offers local support after installation.
CEDIA represents 3,700 member companies in the home technology industry worldwide and serves more than 30,000 industry professionals.
