Law firm hires attorney
A local law firm is growing.
Thacker Sleight has hired attorney James Moore to serve as senior counsel at its Grand Rapids office.
Moore will focus his practice on estate planning.
He will create wills and trusts and help clients prepare their medical directives and beneficiary designations. He will also serve as a power of attorney when necessary.
Moore has spent the last 30 years of his legal career assisting clients with personal estate planning and business and tax matters.
He was recently named a “Master Lawyer” by the State Bar of Michigan.
He has obtained the Advanced Estate and Business Succession Planning designation through the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys and the CExP designation (Certified Exit Planning Professional) from the Business Enterprise Institute.
Moore is also a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He holds a B.A. from Michigan State University and a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
