The customer service company Teleperformance USA is closing its location in Cascade Township and laying off 91 employees.

The layoffs are effective Sept. 30 with the “permanent” closure of the facility, at 2680 Horizon Dr. SE.

Kerry Black, the company’s human resources director, said the company “recently made plans to change the structure” of its organization, specifically related to how and from where customer inquiries will be handled, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification to the state.

Based in Paris, Teleperformance serves and operates in many countries throughout the world.
