Medical software maker signs deal
An out-of-state health care company has selected a West Michigan firm's electronic health record technology.
Dublin, Ohio-based ViaQuest has elected to use the SmartCare Electronic Health Record, made by Kalamazoo-based Streamline Healthcare Solutions.
The electronic system is meant to satisfy the company’s clinical, administrative and billing needs.
“The ease, efficiency and speed of this platform will allow our clinicians to focus more on patient interactions and outcomes, which leads to healthier lives,” said Rich Johnson, president and CEO, ViaQuest.
ViaQuest offers a range of services, including mental and behavioral health, home health, hospice and residential and day services for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
ViaQuest serves patients in Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania.
