A Michigan-based accounting firm has named partners at three of its West Michigan offices.

Southfield-based Plante Moran — a certified public accounting and business advisory firm with a global presence — said last week it elected Jason Durant, Christina Hardy and Jeremy Louters to the role of partner.

They will continue working in Plante Moran’s Kalamazoo, St. Joseph and Grand Rapids offices, respectively.

Jason Durant

A CPA, Durant joined Plante Moran in 1997 and is tax director of the firm’s Kalamazoo office.

With more than 20 years of experience, Durant provides review, compilation, tax and business advisory services to privately held commercial businesses in the manufacturing and distribution and services industries.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Western Michigan University.

Christina Hardy

Hardy, also a CPA, joined Plante Moran in 2000.

She is the firm’s West Michigan not-for-profit leader, a member of the firm’s not-for-profit quality review group and helps lead the firm’s Women in Leadership initiative.

With expertise in the nonprofit industry, Hardy specializes in human service organizations, foundations, economic development organizations and grant-funded organizations.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University.

Jeremy Louters

Louters, CPA, joined Plante Moran in 2003.

Louters specializes in providing audit and review services to businesses with various ownership models, including closely held, private equity, franchisees or franchisors and internationally active businesses in the manufacturing industry.

He also works with companies in various sectors: consumer goods, retail, technology, architecture and engineering.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Calvin College.
