Aviation firm appoints director of maintenance
A local aviation firm has named a new executive.
Northern Jet Management, based at Gerald R. Ford International Airport, has promoted Zech Post to director of maintenance.
Post will be responsible for the management and evaluation of Northern’s aircraft maintenance.
“We are excited about Zech’s promotion and the direction he is going to take the NJM maintenance team,” said Chip Schultz, VP of operations, Northern Jet Management. "I look forward to having Zech join NJM leadership and working closely with him going forward.”
Post has over 17 years of aviation maintenance experience, spending the past two years at Northern, most recently in a lead mechanic role.
Previously, Post spent three years as a lead mechanic for Key Lime Air, based at Centennial Airport in Dove Valley, Colorado.
He acquired an Airframe and Power Plant license through the FAA, after completing the aviation maintenance program at Lansing Community College.
He has also served in the U.S. Army as a combat medic.
