Health administration company acquires firm
A health administration company in the region has acquired a firm that serves clients in multiple states.
Coldwater-based Infinisource Benefit Services said last week it acquired Lake Oswego, Oregon-based Polestar Benefits.
Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
"The acquisition of Polestar is part of Infinisource's growth strategy, building a stronger presence in the Northwest," said Jody Oliver, president and CEO, Infinisource.
Oliver added that the company “continually seeks” acquisitions of regional benefits companies.
Infinisource Benefit Services
Infinisource was founded in 1986 with a strong focus on the then newly enacted COBRA law.
The company has processed more than 11-million COBRA premiums and more than 7.5-million FSA and HRA claims.
It provides participant resource centers, mobile apps, checklists, toolkits and guides.
Polestar Benefits offers COBRA, FSA and HRA services to clients in Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, New Mexico, Utah, Michigan and Virginia.
