Auctioneer selling golf course
A golf course in the region is up for sale.
The 74-acre, 18-hole Evergreen Golf Course in Grand Haven will be auctioned off on Sept. 19 in a one-day online auction through LastBidRealEstate.com.
The sale was prompted by the retirement of the course’s owners.
The highest bidder will have the opportunity to either purchase the golf course separately or together with the equipment for the course.
They will have the option of continuing the golfing operations or purchasing the land to develop it for other uses.
Evergreen Golf Course has a maintenance barn with room for 36 golf carts, a clubhouse with an office, restrooms, a food counter and more. The sale of the property will include a liquor license.
The golf course abuts state land with trails and access to the Grand River.
A preview of the course will be held tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Sept. 10 from 6-8 p.m.
