Property management firm adds to team

A new property management firm in town has added four team members.

Grand Rapids-based PURE Real Estate Management has brought on board Mindy Gardner, Molly Koelzer, Anthony Koehler and Jason Jenkins to the growing firm.

“Since our launch, we’ve focused on creating a team of professionals with diverse skill sets and a team mentality,” said Anne Ficeli, president, PURE.

Gardner and Koelzer have both been hired as leasing specialists.

Gardner brings more than two decades of experience in residential leasing to PURE and is focusing on the group’s urban core portfolio. She was previously with Colliers International.

Koelzer arrives to PURE from North Town Real Estate, where she was serving as a real estate associate. She focuses on PURE’s townhome portfolio.

Koehler has been brought on as a property accountant and arrives to PURE from CBRE in Minneapolis, with both real estate and accounting experience.

Jenkins, previously with Colliers International, joins PURE as a maintenance technician.

PURE was formed this July and is owned by Michael Maier, the owner of Cusp Group, and Ryan Wheeler, VP at Orion Real Estate Solutions.

The new firm was created to manage properties the owners have developed.

“As (ORES’) portfolio continues to grow, so has our desire to stay close to our projects,” Wheeler told the Business Journal in July. “This new venture further deepens our connection to our buildings, our investors and most of all, our tenants. So, from both a financial and philosophical perspective, this just makes sense.”

PURE’s portfolio contains Fulton Square, Eastown Flats, The Homes at River’s Edge, The Knoll Townhomes of Ada and Heritage Place.

ORES, a part of Grand Rapids-based Orion Construction, is the owner and developer of a portfolio that has 272 residential units and eight commercial spaces.
