An awards ceremony recognizing local businesses and business leaders is taking place downtown this month.

Monday is the last day to register for the Grand Rapids Chamber’s 2018 EPIC Awards.

The event is on Oct. 30 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, at 101 Monroe Center St. NW.

Tickets cost $80 for members and $100 for non-members.

Winners from seven award categories will be announced at the event.

The chamber honors finalists based on their support of the community, growth and innovation in business and work with others as mentors and collaborators.
