Nonprofit producing 16 Over 60
A nonprofit that serves seniors is hosting an awards gala in town this month.
Grand Rapids-based Senior Neighbors will host its 16 Over 60 event to honor individuals for their “positive impact and engagement in the community, inspiration to others and … unique qualities.”
Nov. 5 is the last day to register for the event, which takes place on Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, at 1000 E. Beltline Ave. NE.
Tickets are $125 per person and $75 for those 35 or younger.
U.S. military veterans 60 or older are given complimentary reservations.
