Gilda’s LaughFest has announced the first round of performers and shows for its 10-day festival next spring.

LaughFest 2019 will run from March 7-17.

The headliners who will be performing during Gilda’s LaughFest Signature Event include Brian Regan, Ed Asner, Ali Wong, Loni Love, Brad Upton, Jo Koy, Nate Bargatze and Matt Bellassai. The event will be held on March 12 at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.

Comedians will be performing during the festival's Best of the Midwest competition, National Stand-up Comedy Showcase and Clean Comedy Showcase.

The festival will also feature other shows, such as Pop Scholars, River City Improv, LaughFest’s Best and the Rockin’ Homegrown Jam.

There will be more than 200 free and ticketed shows that will feature over 100 comedians at more than 40 venues in Grand Rapids, Lowell and Wayland’s Gun Lake Casino.

“We’re thrilled to bring such diverse talent to LaughFest 2019,” said Joanne Roehm, director of strategic initiatives at Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids and LaughFest.

People can begin purchasing LaughFest Badges at noon today at laughfestgr.org.

The badges will give attendees the “best seats” to the “best shows” and include access to various insider perks.

Individual ticket sales will be available in January.
