Grand Rapids Chamber producing talent summit

The Grand Rapids Chamber is hosting a summit downtown this week focused on the talent shortage.

The event, titled Leadership for Future Growth: Tools to Meet Your Talent Needs, will take place this Friday from 7:30 to 11:45 a.m. in the Pantlind Ballroom at the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids, at 187 Monroe Ave. NW.

Bill Pink, president of Grand Rapids Community College, will lead the event with a keynote address.

Following breakfast, attendees will participate in two breakout sessions of their choosing:

  • Recruiting Diverse Talent
  • The Difference Between Managing and Leading
  • Reflecting Your Brand Values in Your Recruitment
  • Talent Strategies for Employers in a Tight Labor Market
  • Culture by Design

The cost of attendance is $75 for members and non-members.

A limited number of walk-ins will be accepted at the door.
