Construction association presenting Economic Forecast

An association of construction professionals will be looking to the future next week.

The Associated Builders and Contractors Western Michigan Chapter will host its 2019 Construction Economic Forecast at two events on Dec. 4 in Kalamazoo and Hudsonville.

The breakfast session is from 7:30-10 a.m. at the Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center in Kalamazoo, at 100 W. Michigan Ave.

The lunch session is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville, at 3330 Highland Dr.

The information will be presented by the chief economist to the Associated Builders and Contractors, Anirban Basu.

Basu is chairman and CEO of Sage Policy Group, an economic and policy consulting firm headquartered in Baltimore, with offices in Pennsylvania and Cambodia. The firm provides strategic analytical services to energy suppliers, law firms, medical systems, government agencies and real estate developers, among others.

The association is expecting more than 400 professionals to attend the sessions.

Registration is available online for $60 per person, $200 for a table of four and $400 for a table of eight.
