Restaurant group opening pizza franchise
A Michigan restaurant company is opening a fast-casual pizza franchise in the region.
Livonia-based TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants, or TSFM, will host a grand opening on Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. for its first West Michigan MOD Pizza franchise, at 5097 Century Ave. in Kalamazoo.
The first 50 customers at the Kalamazoo location on Saturday will receive a free pizza. Guests can also enter to win prizes, including a year of free MOD Pizza.
MOD Pizza uses fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces for its pizzas, including MOD red sauce and MOD white sauce. Customers can build their own pizzas and salads, choosing from 30 toppings, or they can choose from a menu of MOD classics.
MOD also offers local draft beer and wine, as well as house-made milkshakes, lemonades and iced teas.
The restaurant will employ 30 people.
Grand Rapids location
MOD Pizza’s next West Michigan location is slated to open in early 2019 at 3300 Alpine Dr. NW in Grand Rapids. It will also employ 30 team members.
