Engineering firm adds to team
An engineering firm is growing its team.
Grand Rapids-based Fleis & VandenBrink, or F&V, which also offers architectural services, said this month it hired Steve Czadzeck as a landscape architect and Kyle Sutton as an engineer-in-training at its Grand Rapids office.
“We’re excited about our continued growth and new staff that bring a good mix of experience and youth to our company,” said Paul Galdes, principal and president, Fleis & VandenBrink.
“What’s even more exciting is that we continue to attract great talent in a very tight talent market. And that says a lot about our firm.”
As F&V’s second landscape architect, Czadeck will serve on the firm’s design and enhancement group as a project manager and staff supervisor for site planning and design.
The Michigan State University grad has over 25 years of experience with private sector civil and survey firms and has been involved in all aspects of site and infrastructure development.
Sutton, a recent Calvin College engineering grad, joined F&V after a co-op experience at a health care company, working in the facilities management department.
He’ll assist on stormwater asset management projects with InfoMaster analysis, as well as report writing and water modeling analysis to support water reliability studies.
The firm also said this month it hired Susan Miller as a human resources assistant and Lori Hansen as an administrative assistant at its Grand Rapids office.
F&V has nine offices.
It has more than 225 employees, including specialists in the municipal, private and industrial sectors.
