Appliance maker extends partnership with national homebuilder
An appliance maker in the region has extended its long-time exclusive deal with a nationwide homebuilder.
Benton Harbor-based Whirlpool Corporation said last month it signed a three-year exclusive appliance partnership with Los Angeles-based KB Home.
The agreement builds on more than 25 years of collaboration between the companies.
All newly constructed KB Home communities will continue to be outfitted with Whirlpool and/or KitchenAid brand appliances under the partnership.
Certain Whirlpool appliances will also be available as options in the builder’s new KB Smart Home offerings.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with Whirlpool Corporation, which helps us fulfill our mission to serve our customers with exceptional products and services,” said Dan Bridleman, SVP of sustainability, technology and strategic sourcing, KB Home.
“We deeply value our two-decade partnership with KB Home and are honored to continue providing them with exceptional services and products,” said Kelly Safis, general manager of Contract Builder Sales, Whirlpool Corporation.
KB Home has delivered more than 600,000 homes since it was founded in 1957.
