Contractor promotes pair to vice president
A local general contracting firm has appointed two team members to vice president positions.
Erhardt Construction recently promoted Ryan Formsma to vice president of business development and Stan Elenbaas to vice president of estimating.
Elenbaas has 31 years of estimating and construction management experience, the last 20 years of which have been with Erhardt. In his new role, he is responsible for estimating activities through all phases of pre-construction and construction. His success in the accuracy of Erhardt’s early budget estimates have proven helpful to owners who need to make informed decisions about the direction of their building, the company said.
Prior to his appointment as vice president, Elenbaas worked as senior estimator and director of estimating for Erhardt. He is a graduate of Ferris State University and is a U.S. Green Building Council LEED-Accredited Professional.
Formsma has more than 25 years of experience working in various facets of the construction industry. As vice president of business development, Formsma will manage Erhardt’s marketing department and oversee all of the company’s pre-construction activity.
Prior to his appointment as vice president, Formsma worked as a project manager and director of project development. He is a graduate of Davenport University and a licensed builder in the state of Michigan.
Formsma’s background in both residential and commercial projects, along with his leadership abilities, has led to successful projects for Erhardt’s industrial, senior living, food production and executive home sectors, the company said.
