A local brewery is continuing its push into the canned beverage space.

Grand Rapids-based City Built Brewing Company recently canned and sent out Anabatic Flow, described as a "hazy IPA with intense hop aroma, pine resin, pineapple and peach flavor.”

The canned beer is available locally at Smitty's, Martha's Vineyard, Rishi's, Craft Beer Cellar, Horrocks Market, The Crushed Grape and the City Built taproom, as well as at select stores on the state's east side.

Anabatic Flow is City Built’s third and last canned product of 2018, preceded by Melisandre Red IPA and #happyfriendsgiving Berliner Weiss.

City Built co-owner Ed Collazo said the brewery’s goal is to eventually make all of its offerings available in cans.

“We’re keeping with what consumers want,” Collazo said. “We’re selling everything we can in about 30 days.”

Collazo added that Anabatic Flow has been very well received from patrons, even after being on tap for only a few months.

Anabatic Flow is also available on tap at the brewery, at 820 Monroe Ave. NW.
