College presenting West Michigan Health Care Economic Forecast

A local college will present findings next week from a report on health trends in West Michigan.

Grand Valley State University is hosting the West Michigan Health Care Economic Forecast on Jan. 11 from 8-9:45 a.m. at the Eberhard Center in Grand Rapids, at 401 W. Fulton St.

Registration is free and open to the public. There will also be a livestream of the presentation on YouTube. 

The event features a presentation of the “Health Check” report, which shows health-related trends, costs and employment projections in West Michigan, as well as a panel discussion about trends in health care.

The study was conducted by economics faculty from Tulane University and the GVSU Seidman College of Business.

There will be a question-and-answer session following the panel presentations.
