Investors buy Fulton Street building
An urban building with ground-floor retail and apartments upstairs has been sold.
An anonymous group of local investors have purchased the mixed-use building at 958 Fulton St. E in Grand Rapids' East Hills neighborhood, according to NAI Wisinski of West Michigan.
The building is roughly 13,400 square feet and has six retail spaces on the first floor and nine apartments on the second floor.
Current retailers at the building include Mercury Head Frame Shop, Perrin’s Upholstery, Rinaldi’s Pizza and a party store.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
Russ Bono and Cameron Timmer of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan represented both the buyer and the seller, L&M Properties.
“The buyers plan to keep both the building and the tenant mix true to the existing charm and demographic of the E. Fulton neighborhood, with no major changes currently planned,” Bono said.
“This building is a landmark on the E. Fulton corridor, and it’s good to know that it will remain a vital retail and residential spot to serve the people in that neighborhood.”
