Law firm appoints five partners
A local law firm has named a new group of partners.
Grand Rapids-based Varnum elected West Michigan attorneys Jacob Droppers, Kyle Konwinski, John Rolecki, Erika Salerno and John Titley as partners, according to the firm last month.
The firm also elected Novi attorneys Erin Klug and Kristen Veresh as partners.
Droppers is based at Varnum's Grand Rapids office and a member of the firm’s business and corporate services team.
Droppers specializes in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private offerings, corporate finance and other commercial transactions. He represents clients in manufacturing, distribution, food processing, technology and banking.
He holds a B.A. from Hope College and a J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
Konwinski practices commercial litigation at Varnum’s Grand Rapids office.
Konwinski has experience in environmental and land-use litigation and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, or ERISA, litigation. He represents clients in trial, administrative trial and on appeal.
He holds a B.A. from Kalamazoo College and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
Rolecki is based at Varnum’s Grand Rapids office.
Rolecki focuses on litigation, representing clients in matters regarding regulatory compliance, licensing and insurance coverage.
He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, a master of bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Salerno practices out of Varnum’s Kalamazoo office.
Salerno focuses on family law litigation matters, including divorces, initial and post-judgment child custody matters, change of domicile, paternity, minor guardianship and third-party custody cases.
She holds a B.A. from Michigan State University, a J.D. from the Drake University Law School and an LL.M. in health care from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Titley is based at Varnum’s Grand Rapids office and a member of the firm’s corporate practice team.
Titley has experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, real estate and joint-venture transactions.
He holds a B.A. from Washington and Lee University and a J.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
