There’s a new dog day care facility in the area.

Jared Vermeulen and Michelle Vermeulen opened Camp Bow Wow Byron Center, at 1310 60th St. SW, according to the business last month.

The 8,250-square-foot facility features five indoor and outdoor play areas, a play yard, a climate-controlled atmosphere and more.

The location can house 138 dogs, and it has 16 employees.

“All members of our family are avid dog lovers, which is why we wanted to invest in a company that strives to serve as a home away from home for the community’s furry friends and also gives pet parents the peace of mind to leave them in our care,” said Michelle Vermeulen, co-owner, Camp Bow Wow Byron Center.

The property is being leased from CBW 6010, LLC.

The location is the 11th Camp Bow Wow in Michigan.
