A furniture maker in the region has signed a partnership with a provider of acoustic and collaborative workspace solutions that adds 50 product lines to its portfolio.

Holland-based Haworth signed the deal with Kontich, Belgium-based BuzziSpace, according to Haworth this winter.

The product lines are now available under the Haworth Collection.

The BuzziSpace product offering includes a range of seating, tables, lighting and accessories, as well as privacy and acoustic solutions.

“Today’s workspaces do much more than provide surfaces for typing and chairs for sitting,” said Lauren Johnson, Haworth’s group product manager for focused market segments.

“Our clients need inspired and social spaces that foster thought, reflection and interaction. But those spaces must also foster the well-being or happiness of the users. We are excited to offer these new products that tap into those elements.”

Product examples

BuzziCactus: cactus-shaped room divider that provides sound absorption, design and a “tack-able” surface for use in the office or at home.

BuzziSpark: a “room-within-a-room sofa” that offers visual and sound protection and is capable of being placed on any corner.

BuzziShade: a large-scale fabric lighting fixture with versatile color that reduces external noise levels to a minimum.
