Law firm elects attorneys to management committee
Three partners at a local law firm are now part of its management committee.
Grand Rapids-based Warner Norcross + Judd has elected Edward Bardelli, Sean Cook and Heidi Lyon to the firm's management body, according to the firm last week.
The management committee oversees the firm’s strategic vision and day-to-day operations.
Warner Norcross + Judd is a corporate law firm with 230 attorneys.
It has seven other offices throughout Michigan: Southfield, Midland, Clinton Township, Kalamazoo, Muskegon, Lansing and Holland.
Bardelli is a partner who’s based at the firm’s Grand Rapids office. He represents companies in employment and commercial litigation matters. He has experience in discrimination claims, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower claims, non-competes and other areas.
He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.
Cook is a partner at the firm’s Southfield office. He is chair of its tax practice and a member of its finance committee. He specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, nonprofit law and estate planning law.
He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, an M.S. from Walsh College and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.
Lyon is a partner at the firm’s Grand Rapids office. She practices employee benefits law with an emphasis on retirement planning and executive compensation matters. She counsels employers, plan sponsors and service providers on designing, operating and maintaining employee benefit plans. She serves on the firm’s professional staff committee, which supervises associates and paralegals.
She holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from George Washington University.
