As home prices across the region have risen, a homebuilder in the area is introducing a new collection of homes focused on the first-time buyer.

Portage-based Allen Edwin Homes has launched the Integrity Collection, which offers homebuyers seven floor plans that consist of raised ranches and two-story homes.

Homes will start from the $150,000s in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, the $160,000s in southeast Michigan, the $170,000s in southwest Michigan and Indiana and the $190,000s in Lansing.

The Integrity Collection aims to give first-time and move-up buyers options to own a new home with monthly payments comparable to the cost to rent.

Homes range from three to five bedrooms, two to two and a half bathrooms and 1,459-2,192 square feet, with monthly payments starting from just over $1,000 a month.

The newest collection from Allen Edwin Homes is being offered in 23 communities throughout Michigan and Indiana. The first move-in ready homes in the Integrity Collection with be complete in April.

Three new Integrity model homes are now underway in Richland, Hudsonville and Howell. The model homes will all be RESNET certified and include high-efficiency furnaces, air conditioning, Kohler fixtures, Aristrocraft birch cabinets and more.

Allen Edwin Homes, established in 1994, builds in over 100 communities.
