A telecom company has opened a pair of new stores in the region.

Within the past few months, Comcast has introduced two Xfinity stores with an improved layout for customer service. The new stores take the place of Comcast’s outdated service centers in Grandville and Muskegon.

The recently opened Grandville store is located at 3433 Century Center St. SW, adjacent to RiverTown Crossings. The new Muskegon location is at 5506 Harvey St., next to The Lakes Mall.

Both stores average 4,000 square feet and feature contemporary hands-on displays and seating areas where customers can interact with all Xfinity products, from internet, video and connected home solutions to Xfinity Mobile.

“Giving our customers places to try out our products is the most effective way to educate them of how our technology can provide more convenience and added value,” said Parvathy Hariharan, VP of sales and marketing for Comcast in Michigan.

“These new stores also give us an opportunity to enhance the customer experience with us through face-to-face conversations and top-notch service.”

Within each new store is also a space where customers can learn about Comcast Business’ commercial service, which provides multi-gig speeds to business customers.

Comcast now operates five new-concept Xfinity stores in Michigan, with more planned over the next two years. There are 14 Xfinity stores overall in the state.
