A national association has rated a large group of organizations among the best places to work in the region.

The National Association of Business Resources, or NABR, based in Warren, will honor 158 employers at West Michigan’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For awards banquet on May 7 from 8 a.m.-noon at the JW Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids.

The awards program honors organizations that “display a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment.”

“We are honored to recognize the efforts of this year’s Best and Brightest companies,” said Jennifer Kluge, president and CEO, Best and Brightest Programs.

“These companies have created impressive organizational value and business results through their policies and best practices in human resource management. This award has become a designation sought after by hundreds of West Michigan companies and is a powerful recruitment tool in the drive to attract and retain exceptional employees.”

Methodology

An independent research firm assessed the organizations based on metrics such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more.

Tickets

Admission to the awards luncheon and symposium is $180. Tables for 10 are available for $1,800. Recognition as a table sponsor with 10 tickets is $2,100.

People can register for the event online.
