A manufacturer is spending $23 million to expand its operations in the area.

Jamestown-based Royal Technologies, a supplier of injection-molded plastic parts to multiple industries, is building a 50,000-square-foot warehouse and a 270,000-square-foot plant on about 24 acres adjacent to its existing headquarters, at 3765 Quincy St., according to Lakeshore Advantage today.

The expansion will create 66 jobs.

“We value teamwork and excellence, and the result is that every day, our employees delight our customers and that has driven the need for this expansion,” said Jim Vander Kolk, president, Royal Technologies.

Jamestown Township approved a 12-year tax abatement for the project.

Royal Technologies also has locations in Cullman, Alabama and Mission, Texas.

It serves various industries, including furniture, automotive, firearm and appliance.
