Law firm elects managing director
An attorney in the region has been tapped to help lead a Detroit-based law firm.
Danielle Mason Anderson, resident director of Miller Canfield’s Kalamazoo office, was elected by principals of the firm to be one of its five managing directors, according to the firm this winter.
She will work closely with the firm’s CEO and COO to guide Miller Canfield’s direction and provide leadership and vision.
“I plan to focus on the attraction and retention of talent — the cornerstone necessary for growth — client satisfaction and superior legal work,” Mason Anderson said.
“As a life-long resident of southwest Michigan, I feel I will be able to be particularly helpful in attracting outstanding attorneys and staff to our West Michigan offices.”
She will continue her full-time practice in the firm’s ligation and dispute resolution practice.
Mason Anderson specializes in commercial litigation and creditors’ rights resolution, with a focus on loan enforcement, insolvency bankruptcy and receiverships. She assists corporate clients with general litigation pertaining to collection, loans, mortgages and defaults.
She holds a B.S. from Michigan State University and a J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law.
