Automation company expanding operation
A manufacturer and distributor of automation products is expanding in the area.
Jamestown-based MFP Automation Engineering is investing $2 million in an expansion project, according to Lakeshore Advantage yesterday.
The company has begun work on a 30,000-square-foot building adjacent to its existing facility at 4404 Central Pkwy., which will allow for increased operations and production.
The expansion will create 75 jobs within two years of completion.
Jamestown Township approved a 12-year tax abatement for the project.
MFP specializes in pneumatics, hydraulics, custom manifolds, fluid power and more.
