Staffing firm opens skilled trades office
A staffing firm has entered the West Michigan market with a new office dedicated to the skilled trades.
ULG Skilled Trades, a subsidiary of ULG Companies, opened an office in Grand Rapids, at 2020 Raybrook Ave. SE, according to ULG Companies this month.
This is the 15th office for ULG Companies nationally and the first one in Michigan.
The ULG Skilled Trades office will focus on serving industrial and commercial contractors in the upper Midwest.
ULG Skilled Trades provides local and national staffing support for temporary and long-term projects.
“We serve construction companies and contractors who are driving economic growth, and Grand Rapids is a rapidly growing city with many opportunities for our clients,” said Gary Hentschel, CEO, ULG Companies.
“We also expect to find exceptional new talent in this market and look forward to adding local skilled trades professionals to our national team.”
ULG Skilled Trades employs skilled tradespeople in a variety of fields: electricians, carpenters, field machinists, forklift operators, HVAC technicians, masons, plumbers, welders and more.
It also offers a benefits package.
ULG has additional skilled trades offices in Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin.
ULG Companies is a group of industrial and commercial staffing divisions, which also includes ULG Marine, ULG Staffing and ULG Conveyor. The company serves clients and employees in 43 states across the country.
