Law firm adds attorney
A law firm's Grand Rapids office has added an attorney.
Detroit-based Clark Hill hired Jeffrey Dornbos as senior counsel, according to the firm this winter.
Dornbos is part of the firm’s labor and employment practice.
“Jeff’s addition to the labor and employment team will bring added depth to our litigation capabilities in this area,” said Dan Bretz, business unit leader, labor and employment practice, Clark Hill. “Jeff’s background is a great fit for the group.”
Most recently, Dornbos was an attorney at Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge, where he was senior counsel.
He has also served as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
Dornbos is a trial attorney who practices in employment litigation, appellate litigation and professional liability defense.
He has represented clients in state and federal court in jury trials and appellate proceedings, including arguing before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also represents clients in hearings and other procedures before various federal and state agencies in employment-related matters.
“Clark Hill’s deep bench of labor and employment lawyers and clients will provide the opportunity to expand my practice on a national platform and allow me to offer a broader range of services to my Michigan clients,” Dornbos said.
He holds a B.S from Calvin College, a master of international development administration from Western Michigan University and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.
