A pest control company has named a pair of new leaders.

Kalamazoo-based Griffin Pest Solutions appointed Jeff Spencer as CEO and Pam Blauvelt as president, according to the company last week.

Spencer has 26 years of industry experience at Griffin, and Blauvelt has been with the company more than 28 years.

“Our customers can continue to count on our people and the sterling service they deliver,” Spencer said.

“We’re also looking at expansion into new states and territories. That’s an option as we continue to grow. We love servicing the Midwest. That’s our service target. Usually commercial companies will dictate where we go next. When they need us, we’ll be there.”

Griffin Pest Solutions is also celebrating its 90th anniversary of serving residents, restaurants and companies throughout Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.

It was founded by Linden L. Griffin Sr. in 1929. It is a third-generation family-owned business.

The company employs over 100 professionals and has other offices in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Livonia.
