Benefits agency acquires HR firm
An employee benefits agency has acquired a human resources consulting and training firm.
Kalamazoo-based Rose Street Advisors acquired HRM Innovations, also based in Kalamazoo, according to Rose Street this week.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Rose Street Advisors said the purchase complements its existing services: investment and retirement planning, group employee benefits and life and disability insurance.
“We are thrilled to include HRM Innovations as part of the Rose Street Advisors family,” said Rob Hunt, CEO, Rose Street Advisors. “This is yet another way for us to continue serving our clients in more and better ways.”
As part of the acquisition, Kevin Brozovich, HRM Innovations founder and chief people officer, will join the Rose Street Advisors staff. Erin Markel, people advisor, will work alongside him to grow the newly formed HR consulting division.
“Not only are Kevin and Erin experts in their field, but they are great people and fit well into our firm’s relationship-driven, service-oriented culture,” Hunt said.
Founded in 2009, HRM Innovations designed customized HR systems for companies of all sizes and provided training programs on leadership and HR-related topics, compensation planning and executive placement services.
About 10 HRM employees are listed on LinkedIn.
