Security firm expands footprint
A locally based security operations and investigations firm has added another office on the state’s east side.
Kentwood-based DK Security opened a new office in Flint, at 653 Saginaw St., according to the firm today.
The firm also has offices in Detroit and Lansing, in addition to its local headquarters.
“We’ve been lucky enough to experience continuous growth in the Flint area, so it’s only natural that we expand our management presence here as well,” said Tyler Kalinosky, VP of east Michigan operations, DK Security.
“With this new branch office, we have the ability to maintain a higher level of hospitality security by serving our clients and our employees with faster response times and more direct interaction.”
The Flint division will oversee 88,000 hours of security services annually, according to DK Security.
Founded in 1995 by the late Robert DuHadway, a retired FBI agent, and John Kendall, a former U.S. Marshal, DK Security offers uniform security and a wide-range of investigative.
The firm provides uniform and armed security, event management, retail loss prevention, undercover detectives, executive protection, pre-employment screening, crisis management planning, an anonymous tip line, fingerprinting, a House of Worship Security Network and security audits.
DK has more than 2,200 employees and provides services in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.
