Architecture firm appoints shareholders
A West Michigan architecture firm has named a new group of shareholders.
TowerPinkster, which also offers engineering and interior design services, advanced four employees to its shareholder group as associates, according to the firm last week.
The team members include Greg Adamczyk, Shelbi Iseminger, Yvonne VanWormer and Zach Verhulst.
“Greg, Shelbi, Yvonne and Zach are very talented and devoted members of our team,” said Bjorn Green, president and CEO, TowerPinkster. “Their leadership and engagement with our clients and our mission made them ideal candidates to join our shareholder's group.”
Adamczyk has more than 15 years of experience as a mechanical engineer with a concentration in engineering consultation, maintenance engineering and project management. He is experienced in a variety of projects and has completed multiple projects for health care, food, beverage and pharmaceutical organizations.
He is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineering, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, American Society of Plumbing Engineers and a certified Health Facilities Design Professional.
Iseminger has experience with projects in all of TowerPinkster’s targeted markets. She joined the firm as an intern while at Western Michigan University and transitioned to a full-time employee upon graduation. For the past eight years, she has been honing her skills in programming, space planning, design development, furniture and finish selection, signage, drawing production and coordination.
VanWormer is a certified interior designer with project experience ranging from health care to K-12 schools and corporate environments. With a specialty in furniture layout and space configuration, she advocates for unique product applications within technology-rich environments. Her projects have varied in scope from small renovations to specifying furniture and creating space layouts for entire buildings. She also spent two years as an on-site facilities designer at Pfizer.
Verhulst is involved in the design and development of many facilities across various markets. Acting as project architect and project manager, he integrates architectural and engineering systems on many different scales. He sits on the board for Blandford Nature Center and Covenant House Academy and is a former board member for Heartside Business Association.
TowerPinkster is an employee-owned firm.
With offices in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, the firm has performed projects for a variety of clients, such as Spectrum Health, Western Michigan University and Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
