Health system opens suburban medical office
A new medical office has opened in a Grand Rapids suburb.
Metro Health-University of Michigan Health opened a physician office in Grandville, at 4285 Parkway Place, according to the system this month.
It is Metro Health’s 17th physician office.
Metro Health is leasing the 10,035-square-foot space, which was move-in ready.
The office offers family practice and OB/GYN services.
The space features a waiting room, patient rooms, offices, a walk-in lab and the Metro Health cosmetic treatment center, which moved to this space from the physician office at 2215 44th St. SW in Wyoming. The cosmetic treatment center offers non-surgical cosmetic treatments, including fillers, skin rejuvenation treatments, body treatments and facials.
Dr. Rebecca Werner is the site’s medical director, seeing patients alongside nurse practitioner Lindsey Marchel.
Three OB/GYNs, Dr. Renee Elderkin, Dr. Stephanie Getz and Dr. Sue Hicks, will split their time between Metro Health Grandville, Metro Health Village and Metro Health Park East.
Pediatrician Dr. Mary Advent-Reeber will begin offering general pediatrics in July, as well as specializing in pediatric nephrology at the office for the health system. Two internal medicine/pediatric physicians will begin in the fall.
Same-day appointments are available, and walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours.
Metro Health Grandville is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
