Grocery leaders rank as ‘Top Women’ in industry
A trade publication has included several local women on a national list of the top female leaders in the grocery industry.
Chicago-based Progressive Grocer named 11 Meijer employees, nine SpartanNash employees and one Kellogg employee — 15 of whom are based in West Michigan — to its 2019 list of 393 “Top Women in Grocery.”
The unranked list recognizes and celebrates the key role women play across all sectors of the grocery industry.
This year’s class includes 81 senior-level executives, 247 rising stars and 65 store managers.
All honorees will be recognized at the 2019 Top Women in Grocery Gala and Celebration to be held Nov. 6-7 in Orlando, Florida.
