Chamber hires executive director
A chamber of commerce in the area has a new executive director.
Sandy Williams began the role this week for the Caledonia Area Chamber of Commerce.
Williams has a background in the legal, government and public relations sectors.
She has worked in office coordinator and administrative assistant positions for Thornapple Township, Calvin College, Blu House Properties and the law firm Gruel Mills Nims & Pylman.
The Caledonia chamber works to facilitate connections, communication and opportunities for its members through regular meetings and networking events, an ambassador program and business promotion.
The chamber also provides opportunities to enhance business recognition, as well as the overall quality of life in the Caledonia area through several community events, including the Harvest Festival and Caledonia Home & Lifestyle Show.
“The coming years promise to be filled with strengthening our current partnerships, while working to build new ones,” Williams said.
