A local brewery with craft roots now is available in all 50 states.

Founders Brewing Co. hit the milestone by bringing its beer to Hawaii, thereby giving the Grand Rapids-based brewery a presence in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

“It’s always a special time whenever we add a state of distribution, and the fact that Hawaii is our 50th state makes it all the more worthy of celebration,” said Founders CEO Mike Stevens. “It’s long been a dream of ours to see our beer across the U.S., and the fact that 22-plus years later we’ve accomplished this is a testament to our Founders team and our amazing wholesaler partners.”

According to the company’s social media accounts, the beer now is on its way to the Aloha State, and launch events will take place as soon as the week of July 22.

The company partnered with Odom Hawaii — of the Odom Group and the GAB network of wholesalers — to distribute to the islands.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of such a monumental milestone in the Founders Brewing Co. business,” said Odom Group Vice President of Corporate Sales Brandon Odom. “We value their partnership and are looking forward to the exciting times to come.”

Founders only will be sending cans and draft to start. Brands available for launch include All Day IPA, Solid Gold, Rubaeus and Breakfast Stout.
