Footwear brand inks licensing deal
A footwear brand has signed a licensing deal with a New York company that will allow it to offer a collection of apparel and accessories.
Sperry, a brand of Rockford-based Wolverine Worldwide, said it signed a “multi-category” licensing partnership with New York-based Levy Group that includes a lifestyle collection featuring swimwear, sportswear, dresses and casual bags for men, women and children.
“As an iconic American brand, Sperry is pleased to be working with the Levy Group, one of the oldest and most respected manufacturers in the U.S., on the new Sperry sportswear collection for men, women and children,” said Tom Kennedy, president, Sperry.
“The Levy Group’s attention to quality and detail is unparalleled, and the new sportswear collections reflect the Sperry lifestyle.”
Michael Fernandez, president of Levy Group, said he is pleased with the deal.
“Having the opportunity to work with such an iconic brand such as Sperry is very exciting,” he said.
The collection offers graphic tees, “fashion-forward” swimwear, performance outerwear and sportswear pieces. Prices range from $32 to $180.
The collection debuted at the Miami Swim Week July 11-16.
