Manufacturer investing in operation

A manufacturer of systems for farm production is undergoing several facility improvements.
Big Dutchman is investing $473,861 in its facility in Holland Township, at 3900 John F. Donnelly Dr., according to Lakeshore Advantage this week.
The company is working on 40 new parking spots and is prepping for an additional 50 spots for a new building planned in the next two to three years.
Big Dutchman also said it has invested $60,000 to install solar panels on the building.
The improvements are expected to "lead to the creation" of 24 jobs over the next three years, Lakeshore Advantage said.
Holland Township approved an industrial facilities tax exemption over 12 years to support the project.
