The DeVos family has been named among the country’s top 50 philanthropists.

The DeVos family ranks 26th in the nation, giving away $112 million in 2018, according to the annual ranking of “America’s Top Givers” released by Forbes last week.

The family’s charitable giving ranking includes grants by the foundation of the late Richard DeVos, the co-founder of Ada-based Amway, and his wife, Helen DeVos.

The sum also includes the foundations run by their four children: Dick DeVos and his wife, U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos; Daniel DeVos and his wife, Pamella DeVos; Doug DeVos and his wife, Maria DeVos; and Cheri DeVos.

Grants included $6 million to the Spectrum Health Foundation and $4.7 million to Grand Valley State University, according to Forbes.

The ranking of "America's Top Givers" is online.
