Ax-throwing range opens doors
A new ax-throwing range has opened in town.
FlannelJax’s opened over the weekend in Grand Rapids, at 601 Lake Michigan Dr. NW.
The range features “ax- and lumberjack-related activities,” including ax throwing, hammering with a hatchet and crosscut sawing in a “safe, structured environment.”
Customers are instructed and guided by a certified staff of “lumberjacks and lumberjills.”
FlannelJax’s can also host team-building events, social gatherings and ax-throwing leagues.
All participants must be 18 or older to throw.
The first FlannelJax's opened in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2018.
FlannelJax’s will be open Monday through Thursday from 2-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from noon to midnight and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.
