An IT service provider has a new vice president of strategic initiatives.

Fusion IT hired Richard Reiffer to oversee the development of new programs, services and delivery systems, according to the firm this fall.

Reiffer brings more than 30 years of managed service provider and IT infrastructure experience serving West Michigan small and mid-sized businesses.

Reiffer spent the past seven years with Global Cloud Consulting, working as CEO and a registered implementer of the entrepreneurial operating system, providing strategic guidance to managed service providers across the country.

Prior, he was a VP at Zenith Infotech in the Pittsburgh area.

Reiffer founded the former Trivalent Group in 1991. He said he was instrumental in growing the company to a $20 million business before leaving to launch Global Cloud Consulting in 2012.

Reiffer has a bachelor’s degree in industrial arts, electrical engineering and mathematics from Western Michigan University.
