Senior living 'placement' company enters market
A free service that helps seniors find living options has launched its first local franchise.
Assisted Living Locators is now serving Grand Rapids.
The local franchise will provide guidance in locating short- and long-term care options Kent county, including in-home care, independent living, assisted living, memory care and retirement apartments.
The company can also be a resource for finding short-term respite care, emergency discharges, out-of-town relocations and coordinating non-emergency transportation.
Assisted Living Locators offers an assessment of a senior’s needs and recommends a plan that provides the “full continuum of care.”
The company generates revenue from the referral fees paid by the providers in the company’s network.
The new franchise owner is senior care advisor Tom Carabellese, who works from his home office.
“My goal is to come alongside families and seniors to provide free, personalized assistance,” Carabellese said.
“And because I’m local, I look at a wide range of options for seniors that just can’t be matched by online resource databases.”
Carabellese said he tours and ranks all the facilities he recommends.
Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Assisted Living Locators has 125 franchisees in 36 states and Washington, D.C.
