A pair of financial adviser practices in the region have been recognized among the fastest growing in the nation by revenue.

Wealth Management magazine last month selected Grand Rapids-based Action Point Financial and Kentwood-based Regal Holdings of America as recipients of its Thrive Awards, an inaugural recognition of the nation’s fastest-growing financial advisers.

A total of 121 individuals and firms made the list this year and will be featured in the December 2019 issue of Wealth Management magazine.

Methodology

To qualify for the WealthManagement.com 2019 Thrive Awards list, applicants had to be based in the U.S., offer financial services to individual clients and have minimum revenue of $100,000.

The unranked list was compiled by measuring percentage revenue growth over the previous three years.

Applications were accepted from individuals, teams and companies of all types and sizes — including solo advisers, ensembles, practices, family offices, registered investment advisers and independent broker-dealer reps.

The average revenue growth of the 2019 Thrive Advisors was three times the industry average, as calculated by McKinsey & Company’s PriceMetrix.
