Staffing firm opens Detroit office
A local talent acquisition company opened an office on the state’s east side.
Grand Rapids-based AEBetancourt said it opened a location at 1001 Woodward Ave. in downtown Detroit, where it will provide talent development insourcing services, including talent acquisition, talent development and executive advisement.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to serve the Detroit business community,” said Arthur Betancourt, principal and founder of AEBetancourt. “Detroit’s workforce legacy is an exceptional one. Its future is bright, and we’re proud to be a part of it.”
Adam Klug, senior consultant with AEBetancourt, was selected to take the lead at the new office. He will at first be a team of one with the goal of hiring five to 10 employees by the end of 2021.
The firm, founded in 2015, currently has 11 employees.
“Serving Michigan businesses is in our DNA,” Klug said. “To that end, establishing a Detroit office so that we can better serve the businesses in (Motor City) was a natural next step for (the team at) AE Betancourt.”
AEBetancourt said the news follows a notable 2019 in which the firm landed 67 clients and was ranked among West Michigan’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.
