Cannabis firm opening new center and headquarters
Grand Rapids will welcome its first licensed medical cannabis provision center this week.
Fluresh is coming to Grand Rapids at 1213 Phillips Ave. SW on Feb.7. The new “modern wellness center” will provide a range of medical cannabis products, from numerous strains of flower and extracts to topicals, edibles and more.
The cannabis provision center will be co-located with a 133,000-square-foot facility, which will grow cannabis products slated to launch later in the spring. In addition, Grand Rapids also will be home to Fluresh’s headquarters.
With the combined operations, Fluresh anticipates bringing more than 100 employment opportunities to the community.
The grand opening of the Fluresh cannabis provision center will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m., Feb. 7, after which the location will be open to service card-holding medical marijuana patients.
The Fluresh cannabis provision center will be open to patients from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sundays.
This is Fluresh’s second facility in Michigan as it also operates a 27-acre property in Adrian for growing and processing premium cannabis, where it is licensed to grow up to 7,500 plants. The new medical cannabis provision center will be the first for Fluresh in Grand Rapids.
